drivers making wild turns to pick up fares, bus
drivers trying to make up time or any other type of bastard
that runs red
lights. You would think that Chicago's
finest would be on top of them.
The evil that perpetuates this autocentric,
culture is advertising.
Not just automobiles but an entire throwaway
society. It's no wonder so many drivers have bad
afternoons. Certainly if you try to walk around any major
urban downtown you will quickly find that the pedestrian
is lowest in the food chain. It's almost comical
how the autobound feel that they have the greatest right to the
road.
